The case is just what you might expect in terms of fit and finish (both are good to excellent). It's thin so protection from drops is limited (still better than nothing or even a zagg type plastic adhesive) but protection from scratches is excellent.

I was not sure what the difference was between the "SF" and "LF" models; Rearth replied (very quickly, thanks!) on Facebook and here basically saying:

SF = Soft feeling = rubberized coating, same as the well reviewed and similarly described SF Matte Black Samsung Galaxy S3 Rearth Ringke Soft Feeling Case
vs.
LF = Light feeling = plastic with texture for grip but no rubberized coating... Read more

I bought the case early because I want my new iPhone 5 to be protected when it arrives. I currently use the Ringke slim case for my iPhone 4S and can't wait to try this slim case on my new phone. I've never had problems with the Ringke slim, it's durable, sleek, and protects my phone from scratches and normal wear and tear. I did drop it once on tile and the case held up as if nothing happened. Anxiously waiting for my new iPhone, will update once I test it out!

I wanted to find a case that would keep my new iPhone 5 looking sleek and I found it! It doesn't
add any bulkiness almost as if I don't have a case on, plus I really like the matte/soft feeling
finish.

Style: The top and bottom of the case is opened, but the corners are still covered and protected.
I actually prefer this style better than the completely covered cases because it allows all my
ports to connect without trouble and I don't have to worry about a case that has mismatch port
holes.

Durability: This case doesn't offer major drop protection but for how slim the case is, it's mostly
for aesthetic purposes and provides protections for minor issues like scratches. Also, the edge
on the front of the case protects the screen when lying face down.

Feel: The case feels nice and smooth, also it clamps on easily and it feels very secure on the
phone.
