I've used gaming mice for years and have consistently been impressed by Logitech's quality in that field. The G710+, Logitech's latest gaming keyboard, holds up that tradition of quality and offers several worthwhile features for gamers.First off, this is not an inexpensive keyboard by any stretch. It uses mechanical switches, which are incredibly responsive and durable. Mechanical switch keyboards are favored by many people who do coding and gaming for their responsiveness and durability. This is an incredibly comfortable keyboard for typing. I find it preferable to my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard, my prior favorite. Although the G710+ is somewhat louder, it isn't as loud as some IBM-style mechanical keyboards I've used in the past. The keyboard comes with a detachable plastic palm rest and includes the standard height-adjusting legs in the back for those who prefer their keyboards to sit at more of an angle. These included:-Mechanical keys -Backlit keys -The function keys, are only function keys, not F7 for mute, F8 for decrease sound and F9 for increase sound. -Extra buttons exclusively for pause/play, rewind, fast-forward, stop, sound increase, sound decrease, and mute. -Looks decent This keyboard satisfied all of those, and after searching for HOURS on end, the only keyboard that satisfies all of those key characteristics I was looking for. I might be wrong, but that's what I'm assuming at the moment. Extra notes: I love the cherry MX brown keys, they are perfect, quiet, and feel amazing at every keystroke. I put this keyboard together with the Logitech G6OO MMO mouse, and now I am unstoppable. This is the ultimate gamers keyboard, definitely recommend it to everyone! |
