Samsung also has nice tuning software, especially Natural Color Pro for gamma adjustment. Also has angle viewing adjustments that are convenient. The monitor menu touch controls take some getting used to, but are not intrusive and are intuitive. Has lots of adjustments...and once adjusted for your particular PC, will produce glorious color. Plenty bright...I have the brightness turned down to 15% based on a DVD SMPTE adjustment tool. It's too bad that there's no height adjustment (only tilt) but that features costs $50+ these days. This one seems fine -- I cannot tell whether it is better or worse than others if its type. It does not have incredible resolution, but for someone who primarily does word processing, it works reasonably well. It could be a little brighter. |
