I thought.... wow.. how good could this be @ $38??? But seeing how it had a viewsonic stamp of approval and a decent resolution.. not low end and def not high end, but right in between. Low resolution might have been noticeable to my grandmother but at her age I doubt she can tell the different between a mid v.s high end res on an LED display. It arrived today, I opened the packaging and popped in my SD card with all the photos. Took me about 1 min to set it up. It's not touch screen, and there is no remote. Everything you need to set it up is on the back of the frame. At first it seemed weird, but once I got the hang of it (about 30 seconds) I browsed through the little amount of settings that it did have and got this bad boy running a slide show right off the SD card. Photos fade in and out a little slow, you can tell when they're about to fade since the quality of the photo gets blurry, same as when a photo first loads. Afterwords the photos... This frame is EXCELLENT. Literally took me less than a minute to unpack it, plug it in, and insert the SD card I already had with images saved to it. Brightness is perfect, you can see the images from any angle in the room.
