It is usually 10 pounds off, I weighed myself yesterday and then weighed myself this morning and there is a 10 pound difference, so I stepped back on and still said I lost 10 pounds over night..Just went and stepped back on and I guess I gained those 10 pounds back within a couple hours.. I am trying to lose weight and this scale is making it really hard to keep track of my progress. At this point I don't know how much I actually do weigh. It's frustrating! **Edit:** Contacted customer service and they are going to send out a replacement scale. They responded super quick and I am very happy with their customer service! Thank you Ozeri. :) **Update** I received my replacement scale today and it seems to be working just fine. This looked like a great scale. I like that it doesn't have too many things on it. When scales have too many functions and options that I tend to get confused. I just needed a good basic scale. The Ozeri Precision Digital Scale is very slim and modern looking. I like that it can fit in the corner of a bathroom and it doesn't take up a lot of room. It's nice looking too. It isn't hideous looking like my last scale that I had to hide in an upstairs bathroom. The scale works really great too. My husband weighs himself at the gym and he said it's pretty accurate. That is always good. I get annoyed when I think I weigh less than I actually do. It's never fun to go to the Dr. and find out that you are really 5 lbs heavier than what you though. Besides, it is still quite new, and is not covered with rust spots or hairballs like its dead predecessor. I like it because it works reliably, believably, and readably. The reading of the decimal place (every 0.2 pounds) is a little bit sketchy, though less so than with my prior scale. In particular, the display stabilization makes the scale want to report the same weight as last time, if it is within about a pound of the truth, it seems. If you load a significantly different weight into its memory, though, as I sometimes do by stepping on it while propping some of my weight on the adjacent sink countertop, then when you repeat your honest weighing, it seems believable to within 0.2 or 0.4 pounds. |
