It is a perfect size to sit on my kitchen counter. The picture and sound quality are great. The first TV I ordered had a flaw in the pixels (not sure - just had a small white line in the corner of the viewing area), and so Amazon permitted me to return it, re-order (or refund - my choice), and return shipping was free. Have not had any problems and picture is great. Be aware that you do need to hook up a set of computer speakers to make the sound better. As expected, sound is tinny for this size TV. But for $11.00, you can buy a set of amplified computer speakers. One person on another review said TV was like a toy with its weight, etc. I don't find that at all for this set. Picture is bright and doing a Kill-a-watt check on electric consumption shows only 13 watts. My 40" Sony with receiver uses 250 watts. Unless the TV program is super for the Sony, I prefer the 13 watts at my desk. |
