I have been using CS2 for years thinking that was all I needed to edit my photos and believe me when I say this is light years ahead into the future of photo editing.I haven't tested all the new features so I cannot go into a lot of specifics here but I'm impressed with the new interface and the 3D feature.Cropping is even better now.Great product at a great price!

upgraded from cs5. amazing updates in the new version, as a professional photographer, the new content aware move tool is worth the upgrade alone, not to mention the amazing updates to adobe camera raw. also, this was very simple to buy, download and send in my educational docs, was approved and received my license code in 8 hours :)

I would gladly rate Photoshop CS6 five stars; I had previously used PS CS4, CS3 and earlier versions, and in the short time that I've used this newer edition I've been really impressed with its capabilities and interface.

Unfortunately, I had some issues with registering my copy. When I first received my copy from Amazon (boxed CD), I was a little concerned, because the CD box was unsealed, an old product code sticker had been torn off, and a new one applied. When I attempted to register my copy at Adobe (through Identit-e.com), I got a message saying that my information didn't match that provided on my initial registration. I sent a help request, and was informed that the product code given was already used to register another person! The customer service person at Identit-e was very gracious and helpful - when I sent him a copy of my receipt, and documents confirming my teaching status, he promptly issued me a serial number.
