Finally a commercial water cooling solution that works well and is easy to install. Overclocking has gone mainstream over the passed few years and this very slick system performs like a champion and is truly accessible to anyone.

I bought the H100i to replace a much more hard core and expensive Swiftech (MCRx20 v2 + Apogee XT) water cooling system because of pump noise. Once it became apparent that the swiftech was overkill for my particular CPU I gave the H100i a chance.

Installation: Extremely easy. Radiators have a bad habit of having poorly tapped screw holes but the H100i didn't. It was comparatively effortless to install.

Perfomance: The H100i has far exceeded my expectations in terms of cooling. Both the H100i and the swiftech it replaced yield the same 37C idle temp on my overclocked i7 3930k (4.5GHz@1.45V). At full load the Corsair is only 3C behind the Switftech (57 vs 54C). I think that's pretty great considering the swiftech radiator is... Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Customer Beta Testing Program, December 28, 2012
This review is from: Corsair Hydro Series Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler H100i (Personal Computers)
I own this product (H100i) as well as the H80i. Noting very loud fan operation I went to Corsair's website to look for solutions. Happily they already had a firmware update available that was supposed to fix the problem. Conducting the firmware update simply exchanged the fan vibration noise for a high frequency whine coming from the cooler pump itself. I was fortunate though as I did not have the misfortune of bricking my cooler as many other users have experienced. The corsairlink2 software is buggy as well and I ended up uninstalling it as it caused repeated system lags where the entire system would halt for 30 seconds to a minute, and then catch up with all mouse clicks and keyboard presses responding in rapid sequence. This is on a brand new build with only Win7 64 installed and the Corsairlink2 software, nothing else was installed on the system and this behavior ceased after uninstalling the corsairlink software. I have had this problem for over a month now on my system with... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars What's cooler than cool? Ice cold!, December 30, 2012

So I bought the CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 hoping for a seemingly easy way to switch to water cooling without going all out on a custom kit and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Bought it from tiger direct and it was at my house in 3 days, got to say it's pretty interesting looking that's for sure but on to the details. Popped it open was packaged nice as you would expect from a Corsair product, and the directions were pretty much as simple and fool proof as they could be. I wanted to set mine up with a push/pull fan set up on both sides to my dismay the package only comes with 4 screws which isn't enough to get 2 fans hooked up to the radiator, no big deal for me since I happen to have a lot of screws and stuff lying around for the kind of work I do. Anyway once installed the product was as good as advertised pretty much every temperature area of my CPU dropped on average by 6-7 degrees Celsius. What I mean by that is that whether it is idle or in full load comparing the... Read more
