It's thin, lightweight, and doesn't add much mass to the Nexus 7. As with most TPU type cases, protection is minimal. It will protect from small bumps and bruises, but not a major drop. All the cutouts line up perfectly. For the most part, it fits well, but I deducted 1 star because it is a little loose on the sides. The top, bottom, and corners are pretty much keeping the case on. Maybe mine is a little mis-sized. I don't know. It's not a deal-breaker, but I'd prefer the case to be more snug. For the price though, it's a good TPU case. I've added a couple of pictures on the item page so you can see what it looks like on the Nexus 7. If I drop my tablet and I want it to be protected, I would but something thick and heavy duty..but I ...try not to break my nice things, so I got this TPU right away with a screen protector.
